This project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of controlled drainage at reducing nutrient losses compared to conventional drainage. The 32-acre field is split into 12 acres of controlled drainage and 20 acres conventional drainage. Monitoring at this site has been ongoing by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada since 2015.
